Hello and Welcome to my blog!
I am Krystal Muellenberg:
a photographer who gets slightly giddy about all things wedding and documenting couples in love! (and I LOVE my job)
wife of the most fabulous, funny, and super handsome (winning some points here!) guy EVER!
mother to the two most gorgeous children ever (no bias at all, of course)
And I love to talk! So get ready to hear bits about all of those things! I am so excited that you are here to check out my blog. Put on your favorite song, grab a cup of coffee (or tea, or wine, or soda) and settle in to check out my latest shots, read my rambles, or just see what is happening with me. I try to update a couple times a week, so check back often!

Danielle and Jason
Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 9:40AM Danielle and Jason's wedding was superb! Every little detail was just gorgeous. They put so much thought and planning into it. And it all came together so well. It was a cold day, but they took it all in stride and had a wonderful wedding. This is my last wedding of the year, and also the first time I had a second shooter with me, so I am posting more images than normal. Yep, some of these are taken by my fabulous cousin Sierra Dobbs. I bet you could never guess which ones she took, she is SO awesome! And only 17. I am in awe of her natural talent!
Danielle's dress was GORGEOUS.
So were their rings

Jason and Dani didn't want a lot of formal posed pictures, but they did give us a nice chunk of time with them alone to get some great moments between the two of them.

Reminder
Monday, December 3, 2007 at 10:05AM Just a friendly reminder! PLEASE do not "right click and save" any of the blog images, or the images in your online preview albums. Images saved this way ARE NOT FIT TO PRINT. Images are not meant to be saved from the blog or the preview albums. I send all of my clients DVDs of their high resolution pictures and images should be saved to your computer or printed from there. Believe me they will look a million times better if you do this correctly.
Also, if you plan to order pictures from the online preview albums I have sent you (Smugmug) please do so before December 6th as that is their cut off date for (normal) delivery by Christmas.
Thanks!
Melinda and Greg--The Wedding
Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 12:25PM I am not exagerating when I say that Melinda and Greg's wedding was just awesome! It was so unique and everything was just beautiful. From Melinda's dress (more on this later), to their nighttime beautiful wedding, to the reception at the Pump House in La Crosse, WI, everything was just so THEM. I loved every minute of it. And the food, oh the food! (um, if you can't tell, I sort of like food. ha!)
They had a lot of gorgeous fall details.
more evidence of my mirror obsession.

for some reason this one just speaks to me about bridal preperation and the relationships with the special people on a very special day. (they are helping Melinda get "sparkly", I think...)
The sash on Melinda's dress was to die for! And (correct me if I am wrong), I am pretty sure she made it herself.
Greg teaching his son how to tie a tie.
And a moment alone. I LOVE this one!

I am posting this one because I was just in love with Melinda's dress. Especially the sash. If Matt and I were to get married now instead of almost 5 years ago (!!!!) I would want a dress much like this.
I also LOVED Melinda's shoes. I had a family member come out and tell me they totally didn't "get" the picture I was trying to get. Well this is it. All about the shoes....

Thanks so much guys! I just had so much fun with you! It was a lovely wedding!
(and Dani---you're next!!! Very soon, I promise!)
Evie and Thomas
Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 9:00AM I went down to Tenessee for Evie and Thomas's wedding. And the trip was more than worth it. Their wedding was absolutely fabulous! And the food was amazing. It was just a lot of fun. And the weather was A LOT better there than it was up in Wisconsin that weekend....so that was an added bonus. Check out some of their pictures (and yep, I have added a watermark to blog pictures, so that is what that flower is on the pictures)
I had a blast with Evie at her hair apt. Her stylist was great!

Some details. I adored the room that Evie and her bridesmaids got ready in.
RINGS!

I had a thing for mirrors at this wedding

Thanks again Evie and Thomas! I had so much fun at your wedding. Thanks for having me travel down there. It really was great. And there is a lot more fun where these wedding pictures came from, I can't wait to show you the rest.....Ashley and Troy
Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 5:58PM Ashley and Troy had another absolutely fabulous October wedding. It was a little chilly, but the sun was shining and everyone was so happy. Thank you guys for letting me share your day. Oh! and there were cute kids everywhere!
Ashley's little sister was a great junior bride. love those nails!
it takes a lot of peple to get the bride and her mini-bride ready!
ashley looked gorgeous!
and her bridesmaids did too
i love this one of their rings!
the groom and his groomsmen were cracking up all day
Ashley's little brother was so hard to catch, but i did get this one of him hiding from me

i am posing this picture because i thought i would NEVER live it down. the groomsmen hassled me all day for "almost getting them killed" in the road. the car didn't even get close--and if it had, it would have hit ME not them....
two of the cutest flower girls EVER! and they did SO well for being so little
Ashley's newest nephew was there---and only a couple days old. he was such a doll!

fun with stain glass
